HOLY SHIT
So I've given it some thought, and I don't actually understand people who don't like Prince. My obsession with him has come to a point where I just assume there is something wrong in your head if you don't like him.
I might feel the same way about the Cramps. |

oh yeah, prince was a gift flown down on a neon purple guitar from the heavens
He sang Foo Fighters! O_o I satyd awayke until 1.30am to watch him. Tired for work now! *yaaawn*
I got goosebumps when he came up through the stage and uttered the emortal opening from Let's Go Crazy... Really.
I came on LJ just to post something about this. I have never really liked Prince at all, so I was really surprised that his show totally rocked...I couldn't believe in this day and age that they let a guy just come out there and play electric guitar! At first I thought it had to be pre-recorded, but it sure didn't sound like it.
The Austin Powers-like shadow curtain was a nice touch.
yeah, his guitar skills are pretty incredible, but it's only really clear when you see live peformances of him
Agreed. Prince is a genuis, if a bit off. But that comes with the territory, yes? My Girl's roommate has what she described as a "Prince Fetish."
I'm the same way about Michael Jackson, but I can understand more if people don't like him. He used to be absolutely amazing instead of downright creepy.
prince... he is the original descendant of Adam... he is built in god's image... we are beholding perfection when we view him.
no for real it's in the gospel...
for real, for real.
"Upon learning they were nude and from Adam's fallen fig leaf a new man created and God smiled and said, 'You shall be Prince for all ages to come. Now, go rock the world.' to which Prince replied, 'You know nobody tells me what to do! Gimmie something purple!'
My friend's friend designed his costume.
I fucking love Prince. I have loved Prince since I was nine years old and my Mother failed to censor anything I was listening to/watching that she loved as well. I even had a Prince poster in my bedroom for a little while. | |
